Election Results are in, our two Members at Large for 2021-22 are Pat Hart and Ken Boyk! Both of these young men have been integral parts of our club for years and we look forward to working with them again.

So our new Board consists of Geno Redmon, President, Jeff Brewer, Vice-President, Marty Weddle, Treasurer, Jerry Swank, Secretary, and Pat Hart and Ken Boyk Members at large! Let’s have another great year of Parrot Head-dom!

We also want to thank our previous Board of Directors who really kept this ship afloat for the last year. Steve Camp handled most every meeting and did a great job keeping the club going through Covid. Thanks Steve!!

While other clubs either disappeared or significantly shrunk, we kept going and going, with 94 new members in the last year–how the heck did we do that while a pandemic was going on you may ask? Again, thank Steve Camp for being the best “explainer of stuff” that we have!

We will see you at Dat Cajun Place Friday, July 16 for our Board of Directors turnover meeting! We have some prizes to give out and some to raffle off, and a few pieces of business to discuss (one of them is the Tallahassee Phrenzy on August 14) . Try to get there a little early as this is a new spot for us and it may take a minute to get settled. Ronnie Shiver will be providing the entertainment, and we will say goodbye to our previous Board of Directors (some of whom are returning!).

Hey everyone, we all know how crowded our little beach town has been these last couple of months. Those tourists sure brought one thing with them, as hospitalizations from Covid have jumped in the last few weeks and especially the last few days. (check the map, Bay County is now officially a hotspot in Florida, right with Orlando, Miami, and JAX). Get vaccinated if you haven’t already, and if you do start feeling symptoms, PLEASE stay home or see a doctor. We need you safe!
