Hey everyone, this is Parrot Head Jeff trying to help out where I can! Time for Float Prep!!

This is a golden oldie picture, but you get the idea. We are meeting to work on the float THIS SATUDAY, November 21, at 11 am! Like every year, our float needs some attention, maybe some painting, cleaning up etc. Bring your tools and your FUN attitude!

3011 Game Farm Road is the address of our driver’s new house. Looks like you turn near the Popeye’s on 231. This is James and Bianca’s new house, so while we eat and cook and play and paint and clean, let’s make sure we treat their new house well and leave it just the way we found it–or even better!!

Steve will be bringing his grill and will cook up some dogs and sausages and stuff to eat, and if you want to bring a snack that would be cool too!! Geno is bringing his guitar to serenade us! So 11 am, Saturday Nov 21, come help us out for a few hours! And it’s always a fun time!

There are only a handful of spots left on the float, if you are interested, and have $20 to spare, call our Float Queen Judy Jensen at 850-866-9295.

The parade is Saturday, December 5, Float prep will be in the Marina Civic Center Parking lot starting at 1 pm, with the parade actually starting sometime around 6.

And finally…

If you are NOT able to make it to the Float workday, I know I speak for the club when I say we want to wish everyone a SAFE and HAPPY Thanksgiving! 2020 has been a heckuva year for all of us–and we thought 2018 was tough!! Thankfully only 5 weeks left!! And through all of this, the pandemic, politics, floods, etc, one thing remains the same:
IT’S GREAT TO BE A PARROT HEAD!!
