We hope everyone enjoyed your Holiday time and this beautiful–humid—weather we have had. Also hope your New Year was fun and festive and the new year brings you health, wealth, and happiness. Hopefully our club does too!!

First meeting, January 7, once again at Busters. This will be the LAST TIME at Busters for awhile, as their spring season will soon kick in. They have been great to us through the winter months, have helped pay for the music, and provided good service, good food, good prices and good times. (and a helluva Christmas party)
Gene Mitchell will be our entertainment this Friday, and our charity is “Special Spaces.” They create and build bedrooms and other things for children with cancer. They are providing the gift baskets to raffle, and will do a presentation and tell us about their whole operation.

Big News
A New Charity for
Rendezvous!
The Gulf Coast School for Autism is now our charity for Rendezvous! They offer different academic programs that cater to each individual student’s learning level and style. The primary programs they use are the A Beka, ABLLS and VB-MAPPS. and also offer a supplemental program known as “Visualizing & Verbalizing”. We will have them come visit one of our meetings and give all of us some more information. We are honored to have them as a charity for Rendezvous (which our attendance is now over 300 and we haven’t hit max registration time–so we are rolling).*

*Girl’s Inc, with a new Executive Director, decided that their staffing levels weren’t up to the levels necessary to adequately handle Rendezvous, so they backed away and suggested we find someone else more suitable. We have given them well over $100,000 over the last 4 Rendezvous’, and we wish them well in their future endeavors to keep girls Strong, Smart, and Bold.

January is the time of the year when the tent process for Rendezvous begins. You must be registered obviously to get the emails that are coming shortly. As said earlier, we are trending very well for this time of year. Please get registered (note–there are more people from the Villages registered than Panama City folks–just sayin….)
We will fun Fun N Games, the Cork Pull, Raffle and Silent Auction, and all that fun that we always have!!
