Okay ParrotHeads, this Saturday afternoon at 5:30 our Christmas Party starts. We are purchasing 107 meals!
Note–we lose money on this party, it’s in the budget every year. Here are some other notes:
–if you didn’t register, you can still come for free, you just won’t get to eat the buffet.
The Buffet includes:
- Monterey Chicken dinner, Garlic mashed potatoes, Steam Assorted Vegetables,
- Grilled Fish dinner, Blackened tilapia, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Steamed Assorted Vegetables,
- House salad with Ranch or Italian dressing
- And a small dessert.
- Tea and water also included — Cokes or drinks cost $$
–Sharky’s will have staff stationed in sections to help with the bar drinks or soda order taking or they can go to the bar. This is a cash bar and that includes soda.
–Sharky’s is also supplying the servers, so we won’t need volunteers for that.
–There will be no membership duties, no badges, no new members that night. We are giving our membership team a well-deserved NIGHT OFF.
–Please bring an unwrapped child’s toy! (or better yet TWO!)
–Our entrance will be through the double doors to the oyster bar, on the left as you walk in. We have that bar as well as the deck. The weather is looking good right now, but they have roll-down windows if something changes there.
–There you will pick up your wrist band if you have paid and your name is on the list, and also a single ticket to drop into a bucket. We have about 20 table settings, and will draw tickets for those table settings around 8 pm or so. We won’t be selling raffle tickets or anything.
–Food will be served at 5:45-ish.
–We will have our traditional game to play, so we will need volunteers for that game–win prizes!!
–And of course our friend from the North Pole will be stopping by.
–And our entertainment…well….
