Mardi Gras in May! Well we are just going to have to adjust I guess…And we will start at the No-Name Lounge Friday night at 6 pm–please be in full Mardi Gras outfits! Jeff and those Camaros will promise to throw out a few new wrinkles. The weather is looking GREAT so far, so let’s all start our pre-Mardi Gras festivities at the No Name Friday night! Something tells me it will be throw down!

This is what our float looked like about 2 years ago now. Pat Hart has put countless hours into making it one of the best floats in the parade. And this year, Judy Jensen has helped and so did Kevin Land, and our float is supposed to be unbelievable! I haven’t seen it yet, but they are telling us it’s going to be a doozy. We always need walkers for the parade, which starts at 2 pm on Saturday, so yes, after Friday nights festivities we are going to “get up and do it again” on Saturday! Tailgating starts at noon on 11th street and Fountain Ave in St. Andrews. The tailgating is one of the best parts of the experience! And THIS is what to expect:

Friday, June 4th will be our next meeting at Barracuda Beach Bar. Things are going well there lately, so let’s hope for good weather and let’s have a great turnout!

You should have received your election email by now–if you are reading this, the same email list was used. Bobbie Jo Walden graciously volunteered to be elections supervisor, thanks Bobbie! We are in nomination stage I believe, so get your nominations in, and if you have been nominated, Bobbie sends you an email asking if you want to run for office. We always need volunteers and new blood in the ranks, so lets do what we can to make our Parrot Head Club the BEST in the country!! If you have any election questions, send them to: elections@panamacityphc.org.

And finally, if you ARE going to Key West in November, several of us and our friends in Destin, are looking at purchasing t-shirts, I know KW is already expensive but if you are interested and can squeeze $10 out of that creaky old wallet, reply to this email, if we get 40- 50 between the two clubs, we can break even on the shirts.
