PCPHC – BOWLING NEXT SUNDAY 2pm ROCKIT LANES

First of all, we all hope that our PARROTHEAD phriends had a fun and safe Labor Day weekend. Hope you were all able to stay dry and dodge the rain drops. Remember we will be bowling this Sunday at 2 pm at Rockit Lanes. When I say 2–that really means 1:30 so that Gary can get everyone signed up and on a team. Please bring cash, that way one can person can pay for everyone and you pay that person. It goes a lot quicker that way. (about $32 for two games plus shoes for two people) For newer folks, bowling does NOT mean you have to a good bowler, just come on out and have fun with your new Parrot Head friends, that has been the biggest takeaway from our bowling adventures. We get to meet new phriends and get to know new Parrot Heads.

Our next meeting is Friday, Sept 16 at Patches with Todd Sparks entertaining us. This time we are meeting at 6 pm, not 5:30. That’s the schedule that Patches is always on, and they wanted to keep the music at the same time.

We still have 10 or 12 spots on the float for the Pirate Parade on Oct 8. This is one of the most fun things we do!! If you are interested please reply to this email and we can bill you through Paypal. $35 to ride the float, $45 for a case of beads. A couple can easily go through a whole case of beads during the 1-1.5 hours the parade lasts. Walkers can throw beads too! And also you can walk for free, and walking is kind of fun, you really get up close and personal with kids of all ages.

Oct 7 – Salt Rock band at Sisters of the Sea 5:30 – 8:30
Oct 8 – Pirate Parade
October 15 – Shell Island clean up — still have 20 spots left. $10 will get you a ride on a nice catamaran out to Shell Island where we will clean up for an hour or two, and then hang out and party for an hour or two, and then get a sober ride home! This will be more than a THREE HOUR TOUR! (a picture of our last Shell Island trip is below– I wanted to be Thurston Howell III)
October 21 – the Halloween Party at HOOTERS! We have the whole deck reserved for us. The costume theme is “Dress Like Your Favorite Jimmy Buffett Song.” We will have prizes of some sort…
