Dessert Auction–please bring or buy a nice cake or even a pie. We will distribute envelopes, take the envelopes up 30 minutes later. The envelope with the most money in it gets to pick the cake they want first. Next most picks next and so on. We are raising money for Hurricane Relief. We will also have paper plates and plastic knives and forks.

On Saturday, the Pirate Parade starts at 5 pm! You can start showing up around 1 or 2 if you want to help decorate the float, and we always need help. The picture below is Pier Park. Our float is USUALLY along Stingray drive behind JC Penney. JC Penney parking lot is best, but you got to get there early for that. Target parking lot is a good place to park, or the other side of Pier Park. If you ordered beads they will be on the float with your name on them, Geno has the list of what deck you registered for and will be the enforcer. If you want to change what deck you are on you will need to find a person on that deck to switch with. The float will come back to that spot and that’s when we need help “un-decorating” the float. AFTER THE PARADE IS WHEN WE ESPECIALLY NEED HELP.

Our Halloween party will be Friday, Oct 21 at HOOTERS!! Entertainment is Darby Ledbetter! Darby is a trop rocker from Texas who just moved to PCB, so we will get some Texas music! The costume theme is “Come as your Favorite Jimmy Buffett song”! We’ve never had a meeting at Hooters and we have the whole deck for us. Yes–that is bike week, but bike week in October is nothing like bike week in April, and at night they don’t generally meet in the Hooters area. So be thinking about your costume!!

October 15 – Shell Island clean up — still have a few spots left. $10 will get you a ride on a nice catamaran out to Shell Island where we will clean up for an hour or two, and then hang out and party for an hour or two, and then get a sober ride home! This will be more than a THREE HOUR TOUR!
October 21 – the Halloween Party at HOOTERS! We have the whole deck reserved for us. The costume theme is “Dress Like Your Favorite Jimmy Buffett Song.” We will have prizes of some sort…
