2022 Rendezvous Blast 5
FINALLY!
|
Here is your last informational Rendezvous blast!
|
Reminder–this email only went to the person who made the Rendezvous registration, so if a husband made the reservation, the wife does not get this and vice-versa. Whoever made the registration receives these emails. Please forward this to anyone you may have made a reservation for, cause we don’t have their email address.
Okay just to keep you on your toes, we made a few more minor changes. We moved the footprint of the whole event to the west by 40 or 50 feet. So now the entrance to Rendezvous will have tents on both sides. And the walkway will come somewhere in the middle of that row. If you registered for a tent, you will have a map in your envelope that lists your tent site #.

We have someone who is interested in selling three tent sites, reply to this email and I will get you in touch with them and you and her will deal with each other. The tent sites are Z1 ($75), K ($50), and 19($75). Reply to this email and I will hook you up. This is first come first serve, we are out of it. If you can imagine, I have kind of had enough of tents right now!

A NEW WRINKLE ON RAFFLE!
We have 4 or 5 expensive items, and one priceless item that we were originally planning on Auctioning, but we are trying some new.
A PREMIUM RAFFLE ON SATURDAY.
So we have our regular raffle on Friday, many of you bought tickets and Penny from the Tallahassee club will be selling tickets on Friday for that. BUT ON SATURDAY, these really fine items will be in a separate raffle, with prices as follows:
10 tickets – $20
25 tickets – $40
35 tickets – $50
We only have 1000 tickets available for the Premium Auction. What are these items? Well I am glad you asked:
|
First, the priceless Rendezvous Quilt, made by Sheila Jorgensen. These are actual shirts from each of our 15 Rendezvous Events (yes we had 2 shirts in 2013, not exactly sure why). We could have auctioned this and made $1000 but we wanted everyone, me included, to have a chance to win this sucker. It’s freakin’ beautiful.
(thanks Steve, Bill, Gail, and Janice!)
