Reminder–this email only went to the person who made the Rendezvous registration, so if a husband made the reservation, the wife does not get this and vice-versa. Whoever made the registration receives these emails. Please forward this to anyone you may have made a reservation for, cause we don’t have their email address.
Here’s the deal with tents. As you probably saw or heard last week, we had so many hits on our website in the first minute that we had 29 duplicate tent sites purchased. Here’s what we are doing: we are stretching it out eastward (toward the left on this picture). So those 12 sites you see next to the Gulf, that’s going to be 18 sites. That will push back the three back rows 40 feet or so, plus there will now be a 4th row. The rows closest to Sharky’s will also be made longer. We are going to fit you in. This was beyond our control and are doing the best we can with it. We can’t go any deeper toward the Gulf or you would need floaties, we have to go longer eastward. We are working on this as we speak and hopefully by Saturday will have the final layout.
Now–if anyone wants to bug out of a tent because it’s going to be too far away, that will be understood and a full refund will be given, along with a consolation prize of some sort (like a Jell-O shot or a Jeff and the Camaros CD–I know where there are CASES of those things).
I’m guessing nobody’s going to do that, but the offer is there. Again our deepest apologies, we were a victim of our own success. And of course it made my day too!! Such a wonderful Saturday it was!
