July 16th will be our Board of Directors Turnover Party at Dat Cajun Place on Thomas Drive!! I know what you are thinking—that place is crowded! But we have been promised the outside deck from 5:30 to 8:30 ish! Ronny Shiver will be our entertainment and I know you love that food!!
There is still one position on the Board that hasn’t been announced yet, but it will be as of next week. Our new BOD will take over from there! We have a busy August setting up too!

Our new Home Port as of August 6 is the No Name Lounge! Barracuda Beach Bar has been great, and we will go there again for meetings occasionally. The No Name has a little easier access, and we have been promised part of the deck for the first Friday of every month. They are even going to pay for the music that WE choose! So on August 6 we have BT Turner, from Destin. Many of you may recall he played a Halloween party at Pineapple Willy’s a few years ago. He is talented, entertaining, funny and a great guy to play for us.

So, here we go again with a new BOD. We will honor our past BOD next Friday, and we have things in the works now. Are you ready to go bowling? In September we will do a trash pickup! And who remembers “Let’s Make a Deal” ?? Lots of fun on the way, what could happen?

One last thing, it’s great to be a Parrot Head, be safe out there, watch out for the crazy drivers. Get vaccinated if you haven’t already. Have a great and SAFE summer!
