Mardi Gras Parades

The Board has voted to participate in both Mardi Gras Parade this year. The first will be sponsored by the Krewe of Dominique Youx at Pier Park on February 15 at 4:15. The second will be sponsored by the Krewe of St. Andrews in Panama City on February 22 at 2:00. Sign up sheets for both parades will be available at our January 3 meeting at Harpoon Harry’s. If you can’t make that meeting, sign up online the following week. Prices to ride the float are the same as last year, and beads are available to purchase for $45 per box.

Mardi Gras Parades

We are excited to be in both Mardi Gras parades this year, and we still need walkers for both. Please email either treasurer@panamacityphc.org, or beachoholic@yahoo.com if you can walk the parade. It’s really phun, you get to interact with everyone while keeping an eye open for that child who is ready to run out into the street to get his beads! We have to have 8 walkers for each parade.

Parade times:

Pier Park – February 15th, please arrive at 2 for the 4:15 parade.

St. Andrews – February 22nd, please meet at Oakland Terrace elementary school (Fountain Ave and 12th street) around noon for the 2 pm parade.
