This could be caused by a number of things:
"Parrot Head Rendezvous" Music by Brent Burns Brent Burns - Brent Burns - Mr. "Parrot Head Rendezvous" is back again for the 7th Annual Panama City Parrot Head Club's annual Children's Home Society fund raiser. Brent is a favorite of Parrot Heads everywhere as evidenced by his extensive tour dates and winning 3 Trop Rock music awards in 2010 as Songwriter of the year, best CD of the year and song of the year. His charitable projects include sizeable donations to Habitat for Humanity in Gulf Shores, AL and other places including Panama City, FL. Captain Josh - Captain Josh is the Gigmasters 2007 & 2008 Rising Star Award Winner of The Most Booked Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band in North America as well as four time nominee for a Margarita M.A.F.I.A. award in 2009, 2010 and 2011(2).Captain Josh specializes in Beach/Country/Pop music along with a few oldies, light rock, Trop-Rock and sing-a-longs. His main focus is on Jimmy Buffett and all of his country recording buddies such as Alan, Toby, Lyle, George, Kenny, Clint, Randy, Garth, Van, J.T. etc. Captain Josh is a member of, and entertainer for, the Parrotheads of Central Florida www.phcf.com in Orlando, FL, and travels throughout the U.S., Canada, The Bahamas and The Caribbean to perform. Yes, Captain Josh really is a USCG Licensed Captain too. The Boat Drunks - The Boat Drunks are NOT your typical "bar" band; they're a special event band that caters to a special group of people-those who love the music and lifestyle of Jimmy Buffett. Frequent entertainers at MOTM you'll hear the songs Jimmy's performed and their own originals, all written in the Buffett/tropical vein. After countless bar shows, private parties, special events, and fronting for Jimmy Buffett concerts, they know what it takes to satisfy ParrotHeads and have discovered a few tricks that will make your Rendezvous one you won't forget! Gene Mitchell - Gene Mitchell Trio - Gene Mitchell's songs are played on national radio, Sirius/XM Satellite Radio, and other AM/FM and internet radio stations around the country. His songs have been featured on television shows on ABC, MSNBC and Fox. You might hear his music on the air, however the best place is right here at Rendezvous. He was the featured headline entertainer for the 2007 Capital One Bowl College Championship game, viewed by 17 million and a live audience of over 65,000. Currently Gene has over 100 published songs. We know him as the "Big Coconut" and we're confident you're going to love his original songs. Barefoot Man (Cayman Islands) -Barefoot Man - Born in the shadow of the Bavarian Alps, he loves palm trees, sandy beaches and tropical sun. He doesn't know an E flat from an A minor, but he's composed about 2,000 songs and recorded 500. Although he grew up in German schools and paid little attention as a teenager in U.S. English classes, he's written two books in English. He's to the Caribbean what Jimmy Buffet is to Key West, but everyone knows him only as "Barefoot." Barefoot is the biggest "B" to hit the island since Blackbeard. No visit to the island is complete without taking in George Nowak and his band (The Barefoot Man and Band). And he's back for the second time to entertain at Parrot Head Rendezvous. Jerry Diaz and Hanna's Reef - songwriter, solo performer, and founder of the band "Hanna's Reef". The son of a merchant marine (R.L. Diaz) from the coast of Venezuela, and an artist (Irene Rivera) from Mexico, Diaz has both the nautical spirit and the gypsy flair running through his veins. Born and raised on the upper Texas coast, Jerry gives listeners a glimpse of the coastal lifestyle in just about every song he writes. From songs about Key West, Florida, to songs about New Orleans, and the Texas beach towns that he's grown up in, Diaz takes you on a musical journey of boats, beaches, and bars. Jerry's songs that have been enjoyed throughout the Gulf Coast, for the last several years. Jerry and Hanna's Reef Band are Parrot Head and MOTM favorites but you can hear and see them right here on the sugar white sands of the Florida Panhandle. Jimmy Parrish and the Ocean Waves Band - Jimmy Parrish and the Ocean Wave Band - The music of Jimmy and his Ocean Waves Band has grown greatly in popularity in recent years. With their third CD release, Act of Piracy, they're steadily becoming one of the more well-known acts in the Trop Rock nation. In recent years, Jimmy Parrish & the Ocean Waves Band have headlined many of the larger Trop Rock events in the country. Due in part to a significant and loyal following, along with a song list loaded with creative originals, Jimmy and the band are the reigning Margarita Mafia Horizon Award winners, and was recently been nominated for three more for 2011 including Band of the Year, Album of the Year (Act of Piracy), and Musician of the Year (Dusty Barber). This will be their second Parrot Head Rendezvous performance. John Reno and John Patti -
on stage together. John Reno is a singer/songwriter
from Fairhope, Alabama. Born in New Orleans,
Louisiana, John knew at an early age that music was
his passion. John's musical style can be defined
as trop rock - a mixture of rock-n-roll and country
music with an island theme, and lyrics depicting a
laid back lifestyle. John not only defines this
musical genre - he lives it! With a degree from
Loyola University he worked as an accountant in
Boston. One day John took a long lunch and never
returned to work. He bought a guitar and by the end
of the week, John Reno was born. Within a short time,
John Reno was playing at the local clubs and at
colleges in the Providence/Boston area but being a
Louisiana boy longing for "short-pant"
weather, John returned to the Gulf coast area. Caribbean Cowboys - Caribbean Cowboys Band - The Caribbean Cowboys have been entertaining audiences for over 21 years. They have traveled throughout the South East, from Key West to NY City and through the British Virgin Islands. They provide a variety of music (Jimmy Buffett, tunes of other tropical troubadours, Classic, Southern & Trop Rock, R & B, Beach, Country and Originals) Hailing from Asheville North Carolina we think you'll find them to be a great addition to the Parrot Head Rendezvous line up.
