Let’s Get Started

First of all HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Adios 2020, WHEW! We hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday season, and we can start looking for a better year in 2021. Hopefully we can get this virus stuff under control and remember to keep the IMPORTANT things IMPORTANT!

Here’s what is going on in January:
This coming Friday, Jan 8, we are at Barracuda Beach Bar and Grill, Thomas Drive, 6-9 pm. We will be inside this time so weather won’t be an issue. Half off appetizers, 50/50 Raffle!
Wednesday and Thursday, Jan 13-14: Lulu’s in Destin from 5-9 pm for another Florida Panhandle Hurricane Relief Benefit. Don Middlebrook has put this on for the last 3 years now, and it’s always a lot of fun hanging out with the Emerald Coast Parrot Heads. The money raised from Wednesday night will be for our club, so let’s have a big turnout! Darrell Clanton, Jim Asbell, Joe Downing and Carl Page will be joining me and Don for that evening!
Friday, January 22: The Angry Tuna in Pier Park Half priced appetizers, $10 dozen oysters and live music.Lots of stuff in January! And you KNOW what happens in February?

Yes, Saturday, Feb 6 is the St. Andrews Mardi Gras parade! Yes–the one we had so much fun on last year! Easter is early this year, so that means Mardi Gras is early. Luckily we just spruced the float up for the Christmas parade so we shouldn’t need a big clean up for Feb 6, St Andrews, and Feb 13, Pier Park. We will get more information out on that, you will probably be able to sign up for it this next Friday night. It’s early in the year, we might need our mittens!!

Once again, we hope the new year brings peace, health, and prosperity to everyone. We will keep on Parrot Heading along, doing everything we can to meet when we can, leave the world just a little better every time we meet, and continue to Party With a Purpose!
