MEETING HAS MOVED…
Okay, as nice as Barracuda Beach Bar is, this weekend is the busiest weekend of the year on the beach, so we are moving the meeting back to Papa Joes!  So Friday, July 2, 6 pm.  You KNOW it’s going to be crowded there too, so plan accordingly.  We will have fireworks and 5 food trucks for your culinary delight.  Bring your chairs, but leave your cooler at home.  They check the parking lot pretty good, so if you are thinking of sneaking out to your car, please don’t. The Tyler James band will be playing for us!

Two MORE things–every Parrot Head who shows up will get a $5 Scratch off ticket, so who knows?

And there will be a prize for the most Patriotic Parrot Head!

All three of these guys have donated 1000’s of hours to our club over the years. Whichever two win will be good assets to our organization. AND, we know that the person who doesn’t win will also continue to be a cog in the machinery called Parrot Heads!

This will probably be the last meeting of the current BOD.  Once again we should all thank them all for keeping the ship afloat during the Covid thing, it was a challenge but they got ‘er done.    We will have some new places to visit starting in July, some new faces on the BOD, and what promises to be an interesting year!

We know you are wondering what’s the story with Rendezvous.  Here it is, we are close but it’s not nailed down yet.  The business environment on the beach is different now, and so there will be differences.  Rooms are more expensive, which means it costs more $$ to bring a big band in.  But we have to bring big bands in if we want people to come from all over the country.  We can have all the great local bands in PCB, but that won’t bring people from Tampa, or St. Louis, or East Tennessee, etc. (we saw that on April 24 with the mini-vouz–people drove some real distances to hear Reggie and Jim).  We are doing our best and obviously will let you know as soon as we know.   We are feeling good about it though!  Think Positive!
