In a world that has gone silly with more don’ts than do’s…lets DO some PHun!
Your new Board of Directors is thinking about this PHantastic Club of ours and our safety and well being will always be 1st, as we get together 2 or more times a month!
Before I get to telling you about the cool upcoming Phlockings, which will occur on 3rd Friday of every month, WE have an announcement to make!
We have made some cool arrangements with a tropical minded, Easy Breezy Attitude, restaurant, with “OUTDOOR, OPEN AIR DINING”. Drum roll please…
Barracuda Beach Bar and Grill on Thomas Drive will be our PCPHC new Homeport! This means that we will get together on the 1st Friday of every month for our monthly club meetings at BBBG starting, Friday, October 2nd. You are really gonna like it!
Live music, drink specials for Parrotheads, great tropical menu choices, with the kind of service that we like! They have a Jimmy Buffett, palm tree swaying, St Somewhere vibe and the owners are really looking forward to meeting all of you! (yes, I kind of bragged on you a bit).
We will raise money for our October charity, Council on Aging / Meals on Wheels! How ‘bout this, they will get a 9 to 1 match on locally donated funds from local, state and federal, money! Yes!! A $1000 donation from THE PARROT HEAD CLUB gives them $10,000 to work with!
Lets talk more about that when we get together for a PHun PHlocking this Friday night!! August 14th at the no Name Lounge at the foot of the Hathaway Bridge on the Panama City side! The LIVE MUSIC will be our own tropically minded, very talented, Jeff and the Camaro’s. As always, open air and to mask or not is your choice! We have always had a great time there and now, it’s all new and improved with a white sand beach and a permanent Food Truck!
